Car Hire in Wales.

Wonderful Wales.

Wales is a perfect place for a holiday and supplies a constant string of new and exciting experiences coupled with a multitude of fantastic places to visit.

Wales is particularly popular with families, history lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. There are some fantastic cities, such as Cardiff and Swansea, that are perfect for a cosmopolitan city break and, alternatively, some of the most photogenic landscapes in the UK.

Snowdonia National Park

Snowdonia National Park in the north of the country is home to Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. There are a huge variety of activities on offer within the park, including typical outdoor pursuits such as walking, climbing, and fishing, but also alternatives such as golf and cycling. The park is also home to numerous National Heritage sites and a fantastic coastline where beautiful beaches are overlooked by towering mountains. There really is something for everyone here and there is no better way to explore it all than in your hire car.

Caernarfon Castle

The impressive fortress of Caernarfon Castle is located on Wales’ northwest coast in the city of Caernarfon. Staggering to look at from a distance, its towers and fortified walls are intentionally intimidating. The castle is a World Heritage Site and it is easy to see why when you stand inside the protective walls. You can explore the large inside of the modern day castle and learn about its history. There are fantastic views over the Menai Strait from the tops of the towers that should not be missed.

The island of Anglesey is connected to the mainland by a road, but it still retains the island atmosphere that makes it such a charming place to visit. There are great beaches, castles, and brilliant museums that means there is something to do here whatever the weather. Make sure you visit the dramatic South Stack Lighthouse which has been helping seafarers for over 200 years. For more information on Anglesey’s boating heritage, visit the Holyhead Maritime Museum or take a trip to the 13th century Beaumaris Castle.

Whatever you plan to do whilst you’re in Wales, make sure you book your car hire in advance so you can make the most of your trip.
