Customer Support Advisor

  • Full-time £16,500 to £18,000 (depending upon experience)

    Customer Support Advisor

    Zest Car Rental is an award-winning internet based holiday car hire specialist with a strong customer focus and a reputation for outstanding customer service.

    We are looking for experienced contact centre staff with a passion for being helpful and exceeding customer’s expectations.  The successful candidate will join our existing contact centre team in providing award-winning service to our customers.

    The job will involve:

    • Taking inbound calls and replying to emails.
    • Building a rapport with customers.
    • Providing support to customers before, during and after the car rental period.
    • Explaining to customers the benefit in booking car hire with Zest.
    • Resolving issues during and after the car rental period.
    • Going the extra mile to exceed customer’s expectations at all times.

    What we require:

    • A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
    • A confident, friendly and polite telephone manner.
    • Ability to empathise with all types of customer.
    • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
    • Good time management skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Previous experience of complaint handling would be an advantage.

    Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, you will be required to work shifts within our opening hours which are 08:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

    Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays (33 days).

Accountant / Bookkeeper

  • Full-time Dependant on experience

    Location: Dereham, Norfolk

    We are looking for an experienced Accountant.

    Reporting to the Financial Director, duties to include but not limited to:

    • Import and export data to and from Sage Line 50 accounts using data queries VLookup etc.
    • Monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll.
    • Administering auto enrolment and compliance.
    • Preparation of VAT returns – knowledge of specialist schemes an advantage in particular the Tour Operators Margin Scheme.
    • Reconciliation of all accounts including foreign currency accounts.
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, KPI’s and general statistics relevant to the company.
    • Keeping company records and statutory books up to date.
    • Preparation and submission of yearly tax returns.


    • Knowledge of e-commerce would be an advantage.
    • Competent user of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
    • Advanced excel is a must to analyse and report on large amounts of date.
    • A working knowledge of FX and currency buying would be useful. 
    • IT skills would be an advantage.
    • Some administration and HR tasks will also be part of the job.

    Hours: Full-time or Part Time.

    Holiday Entitlement: Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays. (33 days in total).
