Santorini’s Picturesque Towns
Explore the towns that make up the “Caldera’s eyebrow”: Fira, Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani. Located high on a cliff these towns form the balcony of Santorini and offer amazing views of the active volcano the island is formed around.
Fira is the picturesque capital of the island, its pretty streets lined with whitewashed buildings and dotted with bursts of bougainvillea resemble a marvellous painting.
Discover nearby Oia and its beautiful architecture. Nestled on a clifftop, the nearby views are breathtaking. Wander round one of the blue domed churches or even one of the many art galleries. Oia is also reputed to have the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Due to the volcanic nature of the island there are several different coloured beaches, particularly in Perissa, ranging from black to red sand.
