Avant car do not require an embossed card for the security deposit and they did not try to upsell the additional insurance at the airport. They offered extra insurance upon collection but accepted when we declined as we had already purchased through Zest before leaving the UK. The car had lots of pre existing scratches and dents which were all listed and we were not accused of returning the car with new damage which seems to be an issue for many companies when you read reviews. We were very happy with Avant and Zest.

Everything went very smoothly and we were given helpful advice about speed limits, as well as contact details and full vehicle documentation, which we needed at the border. AutoUnion checked whether we were happy to have an automatic (we were). Great customer service.
