Arriving in Poland

Poland’s cities share the attractions, with Warsaw offering culture, Kraków the natural beauty, whilst Gdańsk has the coast. We work with suppliers at all the major airports in Poland, including those at the three main cities.

Warsaw Airport - Poland's capital and also the country's largest city, Warsaw is home to a range of architectural treats and a wonderful Old Town district. Take in Warsaw's traditional churches, monasteries, museums, and monuments before making the 2 hour drive to Treblinka.

Kraków Airport - Nestled in the south of Poland, Kraków is home to renaissance arcades, stunning Baroque spires, and streets filled with history and fabulous bars. Don't forget to take the time to admire Leonardo da Vinci's magnificent painting Cecilia Gallerani. If you’re here to visit Auschwitz, it’s a 1 hour drive from Kraków.

Wroclaw Airport - The city of Wroclaw is ideal for discovering both the intriguing history and unique cultural beliefs of Poland. Make sure you visit nearby Żagań. Home to Stalag Luft III whose story was told in The Great Escape, this charming town offers tours of the famous POW camp.

Lodz Airport – Check out the superb Museum of Cinematography and walk through the bustling and gigantic Manufaktura shopping centre. Be sure to sample the local cuisine in the excellent restaurants dotted along Piotrkowska Street too.

Gdańsk Airport – Be sure to visit the wonderful Gdańsk Museum housed in what used to be the Town Hall. Other excellent attractions include the National Museum, the Maritime Museum, and Mariacka Street. Alternatively, take a stroll along the Royal Way and admire the stunning architecture.
