Billund Airport – Built in 1964 by the LEGO group, Billund Airport serves mid-Denmark. It is the main hub for tourists making their way to the world famous Legoland Billund – the original Legoland. If you’re not interested in plastic bricks, you’ve probably come to the wrong town, Billund is a true company town. Other attractions and notable sights in the area include the Skulpturpark Billund, Grindsted Museum, and Museumsgaarden Karensminde.
Aalborg Airport – Located in the north, Aalborg is Denmark’s 4th largest city. This former industrial town is slowly being renovated and now boasts a fabulous waterfront and stunning modern architecture. The industrial centre is being transformed and an increase in attractions means this previously ignored city is fast becoming a popular tourist destination. Be sure to visit the Utzon Center, designed by Jørn Utzon of Sydney Opera House fame who lived in the city.Book now
