Great service from both Zest & Alamo, no strong upselling at SFO airport, but I did opt for return empty payment, which was worked out fairly. Overall a very good experience.

Car was the 4x4 version of Toyota RAV4 we had requested. Handled the dirt tracks in the more remote parts of Costa Rica with ease and was comfortable enough on tarmac too. The car interiors take a beating due to all the mud and dust in the national parks so a big challenge for the valeting team at each turnaround. The car we had came with rubber mats front and back which helped minimise issues with muddy footwear.
