Hop in your rental car and only 20 minutes away from Kerry Airport is the county town of Tralee. On the northern side of the neck of the Dingle Peninsula, it’s the largest town in County Kerry. Visit the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, Siamsa Tíre, and experience traditional Irish culture on stage.
Take a stroll through the kingdom’s rich history at Kerry County Museum. Climb to the top of Blennerville Windmill and experience the workings of a traditional windmill.
Places of interest in Killarney are the Killarney National Park, the Lakes of Killarney, Muchross House with its 11,000 acres estate and Ross Castle.

Drive the Ring of Kerry. This is reportedly one of the best scenic drives in the world. There are many towns and villages in the Kerry region and some of the most quaint and memorable are located on the Ring of Kerry. The Iveragh Peninsula juts out into the Atlantic underneath Dingle Bay creating an amazing panoramic coastline. Near Caherciveen you will also find the ruins of Ballyberry Castle which is said to be haunted.
Head to Mount Carrauntoohil. Pull on your walking boots and get hiking; ascend the Devil’s Ladder for fantastic views of the surrounding area.
