Day Trips From Cagliari
In true Sardinian style, Cagliari is home to some gorgeous beaches. Poetto beach is particularly popular in the summer months. Stretching 6km, it is the longest beach in Italy and as it's lined with funfairs, restaurants, bars it is a real hive of activity. Be sure to take a stroll down to the stunning Marina Piccola which with its yacht club and outdoor cinema is also popular amongst holidaymakers.
However, if you are looking for something a bit more picturesque you won’t be disappointed. With over 1,800km of unspoilt beaches, you really are spoilt for choice. With your hire car at hand, the only decision you need to make is which direction to drive in!
