Exploring Bulgaria

Drive to Velingrad, which lies at the heart of the Rhodope Mountains. Relax at one of the many spas and mineral springs. Grab your hiking boots and trek around the Yundola Mountain and breathe in some fresh air.

Head towards the town of Samokov, a 70 minute drive away. Nestled between the Rila and Vitosha mountains, this is a great location for skiing. You could also head to the history museum and discover more about the area.

Plovdiv is only 90 minutes away by car and it presents plenty of fascinating things to see and do. Explore the city and view the countless ancient ruins and monuments here. The Craftsmen's market in Strumna Street is also well worth a visit!
