Day Trips From Paphos - Explore Cyprus by Car
Arrange car rental and take a drive to the Troodos Mountains in the centre of the island; a journey that is worthwhile for hiking enthusiasts and provides amazing views across the island. You will see plenty of traces of volcanic lava from the underwater eruption which once formed the island around 90 million years ago! Skiing is also possible here during the winter months.
Coral Bay is highly popular with tourists and is only a 15 minute drive away from Paphos making it ideal for an afternoon visit. It's a lovely small resort with gorgeous sandy beaches and of course crystal clear water. Coralia Beach, a little further along, is great for snorkelling.
Just over 10km northwest of Paphos you will find Polis-Latchi, a pretty town and fishing port. You'll find a great indoor market and some great Cypriot restaurants as well as numerous leisure activities from horse riding and golf to fishing and canoeing.
