I always use Zest for the reassurance that everything is covered and no additional charges in the holiday country. The exterior of the vehicle was damaged in several places but it was all recorded by Movida (Drive on Holidays) so was not a concern. The interior was spotless. We were collected from the airport as per instructions. The Movida staff were very nice to engage with, efficient and most helpful. Dropping off the car at the end of our holiday was done efficiently and we were taken back to the airport. I would use Movida again in Madeira.

The measure of any system or company is what happens when things go wrong - as inevitably they will do occasionally. After driving my hire car to our accommodation I found there was damage to a front tyre. I was not responsible for this. I phoned the company and explained the issue. Within an hour and a half the car had been collected, taken to a garage and both tyres on the axle had been changed at no cost to me. You can’t ask more than that. Of course I’ll use them again in total confidence in their service and priority for my safety and peace of mind. Thank you.

We've used Zest a few times now and have always been impressed. First time using Drive On Holidays, but have to say their processes were slick and efficient, and the staff friendly and professional. Would happily use them again.

This whole experience was excellent from the start of the booking to the end. The car was a similar model to what I booked, it was ready and clean at pick up. The local company staff were all polite and knowledgeable. I marked everything as excellent except the pick up which was good no oblivious spot but it was a very minor point staff found us no problem. Would use both you and car hire company again.

Easy pick up and drop off from the airport, staff all friendly on arrival lots of good advice about places to visit during our stay.
We would definitely use RentX again.

Very impressed with the whole process, from booking to returning the car. The folks at Movida in Funchal were friendly & efficient and the car was clean & well presented. I particularly liked (and appreciated, as I drove Madeira's narrow & twisty roads) the 'everything's covered' insurance package, and that there was no up-selling by rental company when we collected the car
