Once you have landed at Malta Airport, hire a car and tour the island.
Enjoy Some Time in Bugibba
Malta in general offers many snorkelling opportunities and Bugibba will not disappoint. The shoreline is predominately rocky, although you should find the odd spot perfect for sunbathing. Hop off and go for a swim or explore the underwater world.
The nightlife here is also bustling, with a wide variety of bars and clubs for visitors to sample. Spend some time at the Bugibba Casino or head to the cinema. There are also plenty of places where you can sample the local cuisine, so you can easily tailor your night to suit you.
Explore the Area
Visit St Paul’s Bay where you can visit the Wignacourt Tower to appreciate the fantastic views of the area. There is plenty more to see and enjoy in the largest resort on the island.
Travel to Qawra where you can visit the highly popular Classic Car Museum. You will find it advertised all over Malta and proves to be a great day out.
Head to Simar Nature Reserve, which is only a short car journey away. The numerous reeds and pools attract a plethora of bird life. Amble along the dedicated nature trail to make the most of your time and stop off at one of the bird hides littered throughout.
Kennedy Grove is a park which has been built around a monument to commemorate the US president John F Kennedy. Located only a few miles from St Pauls Bay, this is the perfect place to escape the hubbub of the resort in which you are staying.
