Who we work with - Malta (Luqa) Airport

Reasons to Book with Zest

Providing a fresh approach to car hire in Malta, here at Zest Car Rental we’ve simplified our booking process so you know exactly what you’re getting. We’ve also got rid of the jargon and don’t charge any amendment or credit card fees either.

Things to See and Do in Valletta

As mentioned earlier, the city of Valletta is just a stone's throw from the airport and will no doubt be your first port of call when you arrive. This historical city is protected by UNESCO World Heritage Status quite simply because of the high density of historic buildings located here. Start with St John's Co-Cathedral and continue your explorations from there.

Sliema is also located nearby, just 20 minutes from the airport on the east coast in fact. This is a top choice if you love shopping because it boasts the biggest shopping complex on the island! Alternatively, why not enjoy the beaches and attractive waterfront area, filled with plenty of bars and restaurants?

Sightseeing on Malta

Collect a rental car and travel to the coastal town of Bugibba, just 30 minutes away. It's a haven for swimming and relaxing during the day and the town comes alive at night time, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of hustle and bustle during their holiday!

Take a trip to the picturesque St Julian’s, approximately a 25 minute journey. Originally a fishing village, St Julian’s has grown into one of Malta's most popular resorts and boasts brilliant entertainment and lovely restaurants. St Paul's Bay is just a bit further north.

The other smaller islands of Gozo and Comino are definitely worth visiting and are easily accessible by ferry. They often prove popular day trips for visitors thanks to their prevalent natural beauty and popular attractions.
