Known as Majorca to the English and Mallorca to the Spanish and Catalans, this fabulous island in the Mediterranean Sea is part of the Balearic Islands archipelago.
The stunning city of Palma is home to many historical attractions which, coupled with various national parks dotted around the island, provide a wonderful holiday destination. If you’re a sailor, there are many yacht filled marinas to cast a nautical eye over before hiring a boat and setting sail out into the Med.

Alcudia
A great location for a family holiday, this area is now packed with facilities and offers water parks, crazy golf and beautiful beaches to laze on. Stroll along Passeig Maritim, enjoy the views of the harbour, and sample the cuisine at one of the many fish restaurants here.
Cala d’Or
Upon arrival at Palma de Mallorca Airport, hire a car and head to the east coast where you will find Cala d’Or. Cala Gran is the centre of attention here with many shops, bars and restaurants to frequent.
Cala Millor and Cala Bona
Due to their close proximity to each other, these two locations are often grouped together. Cala Millor is packed with entertainment, Cala Bona on the other hand is quieter and perhaps more suited to a traditional break. They are on the opposite side of the island to Palma Airport so driving to reach your accommodation is much easier.
Palma Nova
This is one of the largest resorts on the island of Mallorca. Filled with a variety of beaches and many activities, a holiday here is perfect for families or couples looking for an energetic holiday.
Magaluf
Preceded no doubt by its reputation, Magaluf is the most bustling resort in Mallorca. The beaches here are stunning, and of course great for a spot of sunbathing. If you want to dance the night away, this will be the resort for you!
Palma de Mallorca
Not just the capital of Mallorca, this city offers visitors a plethora of sights to enjoy. Take the children to Marineland or Aqualand for some thrills or visit Banys Àrabs, the cathedral and even the Bull Ring for a more cultural experience. Palma Airport is ideally located close to the three main roads on the island so you’ll be at your destination in no time.
Portals Nous
Home to a stunning and upmarket marina area, this exclusive resort town contains breathtaking beaches and great shopping at Portals Nous Plaza. There are also two fabulous golf courses if you want to have a round or two before hitting the 19th hole for a cerveza in the sun.
C’an Picafort
Wander along the picturesque promenade and relax and enjoy the views at the harbour. This smaller, quieter resort is best suited to those seeking a more tranquil getaway.
Puerto Pollensa
Nestled amongst the Tramuntana Mountains and littered with beachside restaurants, whether you fancy ambling along the marina, or exploring the Old Town you will find plenty to do here. The weekly market is a great place to seek out a bargain too.
