A 25 minute drive from Palma Airport, Santa Ponsa is one of the jewels in the crown of the south west coast.
Spend Some Time in Santa Ponsa
Head to the main beach, Playa Santa Ponsa, for a selection of activities. Whether you want to lie in the sun, play volleyball, or go for a swim, it’s all possible here. Wander along the shoreline a little further and you’ll come across the small sheltered cove of Little Beach that provides an escape from the bustle of the main resort.
There are three golf courses within the Santa Ponsa Golf Resort. One of the 18-hole courses is open to the public, but the other two are members only. There are also courses in nearby Calvia and Magaluf should you want to try somewhere new.
Drive Around the Area
Palma Nova is only a short drive away from Santa Ponsa and makes for a great day trip. Magaluf is also very close by. Alternatively, why not head out on a last minute boat trip and watch the sun set over the Mediterranean?
Drive a little further to Portals Nous and you’ll discover a glitzy port town filled with style and sophistication. If you are looking for a high quality restaurant, there is no shortage of them here, so take your pick.
If you decide to head to Palma, don’t forget to stop off at the Chapel of Sacred Stone. Once you arrive, visit the breathtaking cathedral before strolling along the cobbled streets in the old Jewish and Arab quarters.
