The town of Palma Nova is a wonderful holiday destination, particularly for those seeking a lively break. As you’d expect from a large coastal resort, a lot of the activities revolve around the beach and water.
The bay boasts perfectly white sand beaches and calm waters perfect for the whole family. It even has a small play area for kids. Playa Palma Nova is the main beach. Its shallow waters are great for both weak swimmers and children. Activity wise, choose from boat trips, water skiing, jet-skis, and much more.
Alternatively, if you fancy land based action, spend half a day at the Fantasia Mini Golf Course or head to one of the many waterparks.

Around the Area
If you’re searching for some time away from the beach, put on your hiking boots and head to the Serra de Tramuntana. Just a short journey north from Palma Nova, the mountain range stretches across the north of the island and provides some spectacular scenery. There are some fantastic walking routes, so make sure you take a picnic and enjoy the change in environment.
Palma is only half an hour away so head into the city for a spot of sightseeing and shopping. The wonderful Gothic cathedral is well worth a visit and the La Llonja area is home to some wonderful tapas bars.
