Things to Do in Puerto Pollensa
Nestled amongst the Tramuntana Mountains and in a horseshoe shaped bay, relax in the small sandy coves and wander along the walkway framed by pine trees. Watch the boats glide leisurely across the horizon or if you’re feeling energetic try your hand at a few watersports.
Head inland to the main town of Pollensa for some sightseeing and souvenir shopping. Café life rules the day in this delightful town. Spend a morning exploring the winding lanes and stop for a coffee and a pastry in one of the cheerful little squares.
To see Pollensa at its most animated visit the main square, Placa Major. On Sunday’s it’s home to the weekly market so try to negotiate yourself a great bargain. Alternatively, stop off at one of the cafés and restaurants which surround the square and sample some local cuisine.
