Overall we were happy with our car hire although we would have found driving in Sicily easier with a built in satnav.

Seemless booking throughout. Sicily by Car at Catania Airport were extremely helpful and professional. No issues in using them again. I had the extended insurance through Zest and felt no hard sales from the rental company to take their additional cover.

Catania airport car service was Eurocar.
Our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Managed to rebook for 2 days later and hence had to phone zest customer services. They handled the problem efficiently and sorted another car with appropriate refund, much to my relief.

An unexpectedly trouble free experience. Given the negative reviews across the board for renting a car at Catania Airport we were rather anxious and changed our booking twice, before discovering Zest via a Which Report. We then opted for Sicily by Car as despite negative reviews, the ratio of good overall reviews was greater than other providers. The staff were polite and efficient and returning the vehicle and having it checked over was fine. After initially booking via Zest the price of the rental offered by Sicily by Car was reduced, I called Zest who were really helpful, they cancelled the original booking and rebooked us the cheaper price. I explained I was anxious about renting given some of the ‘horror’ reviews but was reassured that I could call Zest using their 24 hour helpline, if we had any problems. All in all everything was great and Zest will always be our first choice for booking future rentals. When we return to Sicily we will use Sicily by Car again. Thank you to the staff of both companies.

My rental car was damaged whilst parked overnight. The customer service team have been so helpful each time I've called, very reassuring and helpful. Would definitely recommend using Zest.

All round good experience. I find booking car rental through Zest reassuring and reliable. We have used Italy Car rent a few times before and have had a good service and a good car.
