I have been booking cars at Barcelona and Gerona Airports for more than forty years, and of all the Car Rental companies have found Thrifty to be the best, although a bit more expensive. I arrived at the Thrifty office at 1pm and I had the keys and documents in my hand at 6 minutes past 1pm. The weather was horrendous but as the car was undercover it was easy to inspect, and as the car was in excellent condition I was on my way within minutes. On returning the car in the same condition as when I collected it, I received the the all clear / nothing to pay paperwork.

I have been using Zest to book cars at Barcelona and Gerona airports for many, using most of the car hire company's over the years I have found Thrifty by far the best. The staff at Gerona are very efficient and friendly.

Although we had a flight delay I was able to contact Keddy to say we would be late arriving. Once there the collection process was straightforward and the car was waiting outside the doors.

Though signed up to Keddy, rental was actually from EuropCar (its bigger brother). All comments relate to the EuropCar service

Renting a car abroad can be a complete nightmare but zest and leasys were excellent from start to finish and I will definitely be using them again

Really helpful to have the webchat with Zest. I had not booked many rental cars before, so it was a bit stressful and the chat function made it so much easier and gave me peace of mind, particularly with regards to insurance, collection, timings, etc.
