In the Town
Within the town, there is a lot to keep the whole family occupied. You can visit the Terra Mitica Theme Park and test your courage on some of the roller coasters, or visit the Aqualandia Water Park for some fun in the water. Additionally, another great family attraction is Mundomar Marine Animal Park, where you will get the opportunity to see dolphins and sea lions.
Benidorm has an abundance of beautiful beaches, so you can relax on the golden sand before taking a dip to cool off in the crystal clear water. If you want to be more active, you can wander up to the Balcón Del Mediterráneo where you can enjoy wonderful views from the bottom of the Castle Stairway.
The Surrounding Area
If you are looking for something different to do, then a visit to the Canelobre Caves is worth seeking out, as it’s under an hour’s drive west. They make for a great day trip and exploring the labyrinth of tunnels and exciting rock formations is something you won’t forget in a hurry.
The town of Denia is a short drive north along the coast from Benidorm and is easily reached by car. There is a charming harbour here, with some excellent views over the ocean. The town is overlooked by the Macizo del Montgo Natural Park, which has great vistas and is well worth exploring. You should also visit the castle and Iglesia de la Asuncion church which is close by.
