Day Trips From Alicante

Halfway between Alicante and Valencia you will find the popular harbour town of Denia. Feast on some sweet treats, visit the popular castle, and hit the shops!
Why not head north along the coast to the popular town of Calpe, around 75km away? It's great for swimming and slightly quieter than the beaches of Alicante. You'll also be impressed by the huge Penon de lfach, which can be found in one of the smallest natural parks in Spain. The vast rock towers over Calpe and you can even climb it if you're feeling active enough.

Murcia is relatively close by and will only take you around 50 minutes to travel to. It's a beautiful historical city and from here you can head to the popular Mar Menor which is not only beautiful but perfect for water sports.
