It was helpful to ask the staff at Hiper to change the screen language of the Peugeot 208 to English so I could understand the prompts on the screen.
I would like a local map showing where the nearest fuel station is. I always fill up at the Repsol station but a map would help me find it and also leave it by the correct route to return to Hiper Depot. I got a bit lost going there this time!

It's the first time that I have used Zest and I did so because of the recommendation from Which.
The whole experience was excellent and everything was very straightforward.
Zest will definitely be my go to for car rental in future.

Extremely satisfied with the service & information provided by Zest prior to booking. Especially regarding the Insurance minefield faced by those unfamiliar with the car hire process.
I rang Zest customer service a few times regarding pre hire concerns/explanation & was always provided with clear answers from knowledgeable advisors.
I was able to hire a car in Majorca with confidence. I took out my own extra top up insurance to cover item such as Tyres, wheels, windscreen etc, altho this was available via Zest for a reasonable additional daily cost.
I chose to hire a fiat 500 and payed a premium for a guaranteed car of my choice, ie we already drive a fiat 500 in the UK, so the familiarity was important, due to our planned hazardous excursions through the mountainous region of northern Majorca. (Compounded by driving on the LHS of the road).
The only thing I would point out was the extra cost for hiring a guaranteed model! Ie I could have hired a "similar" small car with Zest for approx £80 for the same duration. I payed £186 for a guaranteed model, ie a fiat 500. (Bearing in mind the local company I hired from, Hiper, were rated as 9.3 by Zest. So basically I was happy to pay the extra,confident that I was dealing with a highly rated local company.

Shuttle bus pickup to and from Palma airport. (Approx 5 mins).
Excellent staff. Extremely clean immaculate premises. No attempt to push top up insurance! Very quick hire process. Everything explained ie fuelling conditions etc.
Will definitely hire through Zest again in the future!
Will probably not bother to hire a guaranteed model but would still choose a local high Zest rated company for peace of mind a quality of service.

I realised just over 48 before collection that I had mislaid my driving licence. Needing some urgent assistance, I telephoned Zest at 18h45 and spoke to a very calm and knowledgeable person. He reassured me that the additional driver (who was arriving the day following the original hire start date) could collect the vehicle. The modified documentation arrived promptly and our hire went ahead (even with a small refund).
This highly professional, no fuss response was a reminder of why I am a loyal Zest customer and there can be no doubt that I shall remain so.
(I subsequent found my licence in time - always check under the scanner lid!)
