Very friendly and efficient staff at Mallorca airport, both for collection and return.
One tip - there are signs at the collection office, which suggest speeding up your collection by filling in information online via a displayed QR code. Note, this does not work if you are from the UK (not sure about other non-Spanish individuals), so just be patient and wait your turn with an agent. The check in was pretty quick once our turn was called.

I used Zest Car Rental as a broker after seeing lots of reviews recommending them, including from Which?. Before booking, I spoke to one of their team members who advised me that if anything went wrong or there were any issues when collecting the car, I could easily contact Zest and they would help negotiate directly with the provider at the time of collection. That gave me a lot of reassurance before travelling.
I had also seen many negative reviews online advising people never to use Record Go at Palma Airport due to long queues, pressure to upgrade vehicles, and attempts to sell additional insurance. However, my experience could not have been more positive.
I booked the extra insurance option through Zest, which cost around £35, and the whole collection process was extremely straightforward. From arriving at the desk to collecting the car took around 20 minutes in total. The staff member at the desk gave me no hassle whatsoever, simply took the deposit as expected and handed over the paperwork to collect the vehicle.
Returning the car was equally simple and stress-free. I would definitely recommend taking photos and videos of the car both before and after rental in case there is any dispute over damage. Fortunately, I had no issues to report, and my deposit was refunded within a few hours of returning the vehicle.
Overall, I would definitely recommend booking through Zest Car Rental. The whole process was smooth, transparent, and reassuring, especially for anyone who may be hiring a car for the first time or is considering hiring from Palma Airport in Mallorca. I hope this review helps others considering using this company and location.

It was a very straightforward experience. Information was shared well and even an itinerary of what we would need to do when we arrived at Palma. I would definitely recommend using Zest car rental and Sixt.
