Beauvais Airport Car Hire.

Explore Beauvais.

As a suburb of Paris, Beauvais has a quieter feel than the tourist hotspots nearby. You have the benefit of being able to explore the city of Paris whilst being within easy reach of the coast too.

Beauvais Airport is situated a short distance north of Paris, and only a stone's throw from the centre of Beauvais itself. Also referred to as Paris Beauvais Tille Airport, make sure you hire a car and begin your exploration of the beautiful region of Picardy.

Explore Beauvais

Beauvais makes a great base to relax and enjoy the French way of life, whilst making some interesting day trips to the famous landmarks in Paris.

The most prominent attraction in Beauvais is the Beauvais Cathedral, with some amazing gothic architecture. There are some brilliantly colourful windows here and the spacious main nave has a real spiritual feel. There are also light and music shows here on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that shouldn’t be missed.

If you are after a relaxing area to spend some time then head to the Parc Marcel Dassault, located just outside the city centre. You can take a picnic or a book and find a place to sit and watch the world go by. Is there a better way to spend an afternoon?

Day Trips From Beauvais

As you have use of a hire car, there are lots of other places that you can visit during your stay. Journey to the north-west coast of France and the town of Le Havre. Explore the plethora of churches which can be found here then head to the beach where you can relax and soak up some sunshine.

Alternatively, as Beauvais is located on the outskirts of Paris, embark on the 90 minute journey to the city centre. Visit the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs-Elysées.

You can also travel to Amiens on the River Somme. The famous Amiens Cathedral is unmissable and presents visitors with a fabulous example of gothic architecture. Take a peek at the Hortillonnages Amiens, also known as the floating gardens.
