Following problems with my credit card being out of date you helpline staff were very helpful in allowing us to change the main driver. A history was kept so, on a second call their was no problems and the problem was sorted in seconds.
On arrival "drive on holidays" staff met us and arranged transport to collect the car. All the staff were very helpful and got us on our way quickly. Possibly unfair of me to only put good on speed of collecting as the paperwork always takes time and cannot be hurried. Very happy with both companies. Thank you.

Renting a car through Zest was great choice - excellent value. Everything you need in one place - no surprises at the counter. Thorough explanation of all steps and choices. No “bait and switch” attempts along the way. No feeling that the rental company is looking for ways to tack on additional charges (additional insurance, cleaning charges, fake damage claims). Just good, honest service. Zest and Drive on Holidays are a good choice.

The car was nearly new and very clean. No hard sell on additional insurance as we had Zest top up insurance. We were asked to return the car with the same level of fuel which is very fair. On returning the car it was checked but not in a way to find an issue to blame you.

We were first offered a vehicle with many bumps , dings and scratches and said we were not happy. The attendant offered us another car after checking with their supervisor. We were very impressed and happy.

I've had a few bad experiences with car hire companies but this time, the process was simple from start to finish. I will definitely use Zest car rental again whenever I need car hire in the future.

I use Zest Car Rental all the time.....They are professional and courteous and I feel valued as a customer. They always answer the phone and my requests have always been handled in a positive manner...
The excess is included and the top up insurance is always good value also....
I would not use anyone else as their partners in Portugal are always polite and helpful...
Never had a bad experience in 6 years...
