What’s on in Playa del Ingles?
Sun, sea and sangria rule the day in Playa del Ingles making the wonderful beaches immensely popular. One end of the beach is a sporting enthusiast’s haven, offering a wide variety of water sports for holidaymakers to try their hand at. Whilst at the other end, a long promenade featuring a number of cafes and tavernas gives sunbathers an excuse to stretch their legs as they go in search of an ice cream or two.
There are plenty of great shopping areas in Playa del Ingles so be sure to dedicate some time to retail therapy. Visit one of the plazas and pick up a few holiday souvenirs to take home with you.
Get in Touch With Your Green Side
Take a trip to the west of the island to visit Tamadaba Natural Park. Pack a picnic and explore this huge fascinating forest. On the drive up you’ll pass through lovely green valleys; look out for waterfalls! If you hike out to the rocks you can enjoy incredible views of the west coast below you. There’s an easy circular route through the forest that’s suitable for all fitness levels.

Pack your golf clubs in the boot and visit some of the golf courses on the island for a few rounds. There are nine in total on the island, five of which are in the south so you’ll be spoilt for choice. We recommended trying your luck on the 18-hole championship course at Anfi Tauro!
