All their current cars are new so much less hassle than normal over bumps / scratches.

The car rental from Automania involved getting collected from the airport and taken to pick up the car.
The day before they WhatsApp me with info on where to meet for the airport pickup which included a photo.
They also asked me to provide driving license and passport photos to make pick up on the day easier and quicker.
So very well organised.
We had a bit of trouble identifying the pick up spot but they were really responsive to a call via WhatsApp.
There was a very short trip (few minutes) to get to pick up the car.
The guy checking us in was very efficient and friendly.
The car was virtually new.
The return of the car was equally efficient (bearing in mind the traffic in Naples!😬).

Thank you so much, Zest made it easy and I felt secure with the added insurance which I would highly recommend while driving in Italy, which was quite a challenge in such wild traffic! Very happy with the car supplier, Automania. The car was much bigger than I thought we would get. I would happily use again. Very glad to be signposted by Which? Magazine, you are clearly deserving of this recommendation.

Excellent service from start to finish. Fully flexible with return times, very helpful, and gave us all options if we needed to return the car earlier. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Couldn’t fault them at all — highly recommended.

Worked easily for us in Naples, friendly staff, easy walk or shuttle to the car park. We opted for extra roadside assistance when getting the car so perhaps get this if you’re booking your own excess protection insurance. I’d use Zest again, definitely.

We bought the extra insurance and for a change, the rental company didn't try and push their insurance with threats of losing money anyway. Zest also allowed us to upgrade our car before we went on our trip with no hassle. Excellent all round.
