A fresh, honest approach to car rental

Tour around Brighton.

A traditional seaside resort on the south coast, today Brighton is still one of the most popular and stylish destinations in the UK. The town itself has a great mix of vintage and contemporary styles meaning that there is something on offer for all tastes.

Brighton is perfectly located with major cities such as London, Portsmouth and Southampton well within a short drive. So, make sure you book your hire car in advance to make the most of this fabulous town and all the features of the local region.

In the City

Within Brighton, there’s one landmark that surpasses all others in terms of its significance. The Royal Pavilion has been an iconic symbol of Brighton for the last 200 years and it shows no signs of giving up. The historic royal residence is open to visitors and if you think the exterior of the building is extravagant, wait until you get inside. There are some amazing rooms and decorations that will keep you wide-eyed from start to finish.

Also in Brighton be sure to visit the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. The museum is located close to the Royal Pavilion and is a treasure trove of riches from home and abroad. Brighton has, however, much more to offer besides visiting museums. Make sure you stroll round Kemp Town and The Lanes, visiting the shops and restaurants while you soak up the irrepressible seaside atmosphere.

Around Brighton

Brighton is perfectly positioned, getting all the benefits of the relaxing seaside atmosphere and still close enough to London’s metropolis that it has a cosmopolitan feel. London is only just over an hour’s drive away so you can easily head to the capital for a day trip. Take in all the sights and visit the fantastic Natural History Museum and Science Museum, both of which have free admission.

If you travel west from Brighton along the coast Portsmouth is an hour’s drive. The city of Portsmouth easily has enough attractions for a great day trip. Make sure you visit the HMS Victory, Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. Still in fantastic condition the Victory will transport you back in history whilst revealing some insights into life at sea. Also in the city is another famous ship, The Mary Rose, and what’s left of the ship is on display at The Mary Rose Museum.

Closer to Brighton and just a 20 minute drive away is Devil’s Dyke. Part of the South Downs National Park, Devil’s Dyke is a jaw-dropping valley with staggering views. It is a great excursion for walking and picnics. You can also take a stroll to the closest village, Fulking, for a relaxing drink and a bite to eat in an old English pub.
