Not only can you enjoy the annual Grassington Festival if you visit at the right time, but you can amble along the narrow streets and wander into the shops along the way. Linton Falls is also nearby, so make a beeline for this place to round off your day.

Visiting the walled city of historic York is a must during your stay in this area. Admire York Minster and Clifford’s Tower for starters, and then discover more about York at the Yorkshire, Castle and Railway Museums. Indulge in some retail therapy along the cobbled streets then grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in central York.
