Fabulous service. Upgraded the vehicle. Couldn’t have been happier or more satisfied. Way better from all those big name North American car rental places

Fly into Inverness Airport and explore Inverness itself or the Cairngorms National Park and the Highlands of Scotland.

Sightseeing in Inverness

If you want to start by visiting the castles of the area, the most logical place to begin is Inverness Castle. Nowadays, you will find Inverness Sheriff Court located here, so stroll around the grounds and enjoy the views over the River Ness. If you head just outside of Inverness, you can pay a visit to Cawdor Castle too if you have time.

Wander along the river bank and enjoy a round or two of golf at Torvean Golf Course or the nearby Inverness or Fairways Golf Clubs.

If you crave some exercise, take the Ness Island Walk upstream to Ness Islands; you may even spot a seal in the River Ness. Connected by a series of foot bridges, while away an afternoon soaking up the stunning scenery.

Explore the Scottish Highlands

A visit to Loch Ness is essential if staying in the area. Besides trying to spot the Loch Ness Monster, you should also stop off at Plodda Falls for a breathtaking view. Don’t forget the Fall of Foyers either, which is a short but lovely waterfall.

If you want to see bottlenose dolphins, then Chanonry Point and North Kessock are the best places to start. Spotting them is easiest during the summer months and you may even see a minke whale at certain times too.

Clava Cairns is a fascinating prehistoric site. Consisting of three burial caverns, enclosed by stone circles, not only can you see some prehistoric rock art, you can also view the Culloden Viaduct.

When you hire a car to explore the Scottish Highlands, the Cairngorms National Park is definitely your oyster. Drive to the villages of Nethy Bridge, Boat of Garten and wander around the beautiful woodlands. The bustling town of Aviemore is also bursting full of activities and wonderful scenery.
