What’s in Worcester?
With an industrial history that dates back to the Iron Age, Worcester has a rich and varied heritage that is still evident today. The Royal Worcester Porcelain factory was in production for 258 years but after closing down in 2009 it has recently become the Worcester Porcelain Museum. Worcester Cathedral is another of the city’s historic sites. A place of great social influence since the 8th Century, the Cathedral has attracted visitors for hundreds of years. Worcester’s shopping scene also offers the opportunity to experience a slice of Worcester’s extensive history.
