Who we work with - Swansea

Whether you’re looking for historic sites, somewhere to shop, or a tasty restaurant for dinner you are sure to find whatever your heart desires in Swansea. With your hire car to hand you will also be able to explore the many beautiful sights of the Gower Peninsula coastline.

Sights in Swansea

Packed full of things to do, visitors will be spoilt for choice in Swansea. With a collection of all your favourite high street shops alongside independent and specialist boutiques, Swansea is a prime location for shopaholics. A number of traditional pubs and trendy bars and restaurants also call the city centre home, so if you do have some retail therapy in mind you’ve got plenty of choices when it comes to refuelling or toasting your new purchases.

The city is also home to Plantasia, a tropical hothouse filled with exotic insects, reptiles, fish, and monkeys alongside pineapple plants, prickly cacti, and giant bamboo! Escape potentially inclement weather and see what you can discover at Plantasia!

The Gower Peninsula Coast

The first place in the UK to be named an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Coast certainly doesn’t disappoint. Cliffs and lush green woodland are ringed by award winning beaches making it a favourite spot for walkers, birdwatchers, sunbathers, and surfers alike!

The historic village of Mumbles marks the start of the peninsula coastline and is just a 15 minute drive from Swansea. Steeped in history and tradition, Mumbles is home to a delightful Victorian pier as well as Oystermouth Castle which sits on top of a hill and is well-worth a visit just for the views! Mumbles is also something of a foodie’s paradise with restaurants offering fresh-off-the-boat seafood, chocolate shops selling homemade truffles, and various cafes selling world-class ice cream.

Visitors can take their pick of the beaches that make up the Gower Peninsula coast as well as the walks that criss-cross through the area’s romantic woodland. And with all of it within a 40 minute drive from Swansea you couldn’t be better placed to explore this beautiful corner of Wales.
