The size was just as requested, even though it wasn’t the exact make and model. The main thing was its boot was the necessary size for our luggage requirements.
On arrival a thorough pre hire damage check was performed transparently and similarly on return. The deposit was returned promptly too.

Alma Car Hire was a bit further away from the Airport terminal than we expected so it took us a little time to find it. We had ordered a Nissan Micra automatic or equivalent. We were actually offered a choice between a Kia (can't remember the model) or a Volkswagen Polo. We chose the Polo which was in excellent condition and only had 10,000 kilometres on the clock. It was obviously an improvement on a Micra as well. Overall very pleased with our experience with Alma.

Lots of add ons included such as additional driver, collision damage waiver and no deposit - excellent. Smooth transaction in every respect. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Flight was diverted to alternative airport due to bad weather. I contacted Autounion to say we had been diverted and they were happy for us to collect the car the following day once our flight was rescheduled.

Small easy run-around car; good for the small roads! Service at airport pick-up and drop-off very straightforward and without issue.
