Autos Aguirre is just across the border from Gibraltar, a walk of a minute or so. Good service, good English speakers and an efficient process. Zest is a great platform for finding hire cars. You can build up points that give a small discount , worth having.

Our car would not start after a few days(battery flat)Despite being a sunday afternoon,Zest and the local providers were very responsive and got us a replacement car almost immediately.

Our flight to Gibraltar was diverted to Malaga because of bad weather. We called Espacar (the guy spoke brilliant English) when we landed in Malaga and they were able to switch the booking to Malaga. We had the car 10 minutes later! Fantastic service and saved us a 3 hour coach ordeal!
