I chose Zest / Espacar following reading a Guardian article about the terrors of the car hire sector for customers. Zest was Which? approved which influenced me. We attended a family wedding in Spain, my brother hired a car from Avis, the office is near the Espacar office. Upon his return he has seen a £788 additional charge placed on his card for an unknown reason. This typifies the reasons for most car hire companies being mistrusted and held in low regard.

Zest provides us with a good service and to date all car rentals have been without hassle and efficiently carried out. My son in law, on my recommendation also booked through Zest and was happy with the service (The rental provider was Aguirre, not Espacar)

The instructions on how to find the pick up destination was a bit vague, So had to use Google maps.
The collection and return was very easy and fast.
Would definitely recommend.

Really pleasant and helpful man in Espacar in the car park in La Línea; same guy as the previous year and he was the same then. Very pleased with the quick and easy pick up and return, using Zest insurance so no worrying about not having enough cover, or the right cover, no extra payments on arrival or departure, all done before you leave home, just pick your car up and off you go. Price wise, am happy with what I paid, don’t know if there is much difference using other providers but am happy with the service and will definitely use again….
