I thought the service provided by Zest was excellent. They were easy to contact and, in the minefield of renting cars overseas, I felt assured that if anything went wrong they would have it covered. I hired 4 cars from Madrid for my three adult children and their families (and my wife and I). My children wondered why I was using an “intermediary” to rent our cars (probably thought it was an age thing !) but, after directly dealing with Zest themselves, they also thought they were excellent and will be using them in the future.

The customer service was great at the airport. I had to change the car after two days from my 9 day rental due to a technical fault. The car was picked up from my address and took me to the airport again in a taxi to collect another. The service was great. Will use again no doubt!

Have used Record go twice before. This time -unlike previously- the service was quick and cheerful with no hard sell of their insurance. One needs evidence of the Zest free additional driver to get this bonus.

At Madrid T4, the Europcar booth is just a minute await from the arrivals hall. Easy to find.
We arrived late but still there were two members of staff working, so no waiting time.
The agent was friendly and knowledgeable.
The whole process did not take more than 15 minutes.
