Top Sights in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh itself has plenty on offer. Visit the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, take a trip on the Monongahela Incline Tram and relax at Phipps Conservatory. The Heinz History Centre is another major history museum and attraction in Pennsylvania that you should not miss.
Pay a visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. It is one of only six major zoo and aquarium combinations in the USA. Set over 77 acres of park land, it exhibits more than 4,000 animals representing some 475 species, including 20 threatened or endangered species.
The National Aviary is a similar attraction situated in Pittsburgh. The largest aviary in the USA, it’s home to some 600 animals from across 200 species.
Be sure to take your camera if you visit the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh and centrepiece of the University of Pittsburgh's main campus. The views from the top of the building are stunning and the interior of this landmark structure also offers plenty to marvel at.

Take a trip to Raccoon Creek State Park, less than a one hour drive away. Enjoy the 101-acre Raccoon Lake and hire a boat or explore the remainder of the park on foot.
