Climb 520ft to the top of the Space Needle Observation Deck. This towers above the city centre offering spectacular views of Seattle. There is also a rotating restaurant at the top for you where you can enjoy a good meal whilst savouring the views.
Visit the Woodland Park Zoo, set in 92 acres of land and home to 1,000 animals. You can even feed the giraffes! The Seattle Aquarium, located on Pier 59 is also worthy of a visit and it is home to a variety of marine and sea life.
Explore the Kubota Garden which is a 20 acre Japanese garden. It offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere as you explore the garden paths.

For a bit more adventure, why not go to Wild Waves Theme Park between Seattle and Tacoma? It offers over 40 rides including water rides and rollercoasters.
Head east and you’ll come to Washington’s second largest city - Spokane. Why not make a detour to visit the Grand Coulee Dam? This is currently one of the largest electricity producing facilities in the USA.
Otherwise, why not visit one of the many national parks and forests found in Washington State? Nearby Mount Reiner National Park which is home to the massive stratovolcano Mount Reiner is a great starting point.
