Take a stroll around Sarasota’s Towles Court art district which is full of beautiful properties, art galleries, and quaint little shops.
Visit the Sarasota Jungle Gardens which was established in the 1930’s. It is now spread over ten acres offering a variety of botanical gardens along with bird and animal shows which are great for kids.
Nearby Siesta Beach proves popular with visitors and locals alike. Its sandy beach is made up of 99% pure quartz which is soft and cool on the feet, not to mention the crystal clear blue waters.
The South Florida Museum Bradenton is another point of interest focusing on the natural and cultural history of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Drive east to Orlando. This large city is home to a number of large attractions and theme parks such as Disney World Resort and Universal Studios which pull in visitors from around the globe.
Take a boat trip and go fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. There are many local fishing tour operators offering trips lasting from half a day to a couple of days at sea. Take the chance to catch one of over 200 species of fish.
Head to St Petersburg Beach. Laze on the golden sands for a few hours, or if you are feeling energetic, why not partake in some water sports? Filled with restaurants and shops, there is plenty to keep you occupied.
Travel to Tampa. Indulge in a round of golf or two at the local course or spend some time in Bok Tower Gardens for a truly stunning day out.
