Great service from both Zest & Alamo, no strong upselling at SFO airport, but I did opt for return empty payment, which was worked out fairly. Overall a very good experience.

I have been renting cars for decades now, and always dread the collection experience at the rental desk and hard upsell for extra cover and insurance. I chose to use Zest based on the positive reviews, and was not disappointed at all. The desk person was very friendly and gave helpful advice about prepaying bridge tolls, etc. Although they did not have my chosen vehicle available, the staff on the car lot went above and beyond to help me find a vehicle that was similar in size and suitable for my trip. The returns process was very smooth too. I will definitely be using Zest in the future and recommending to others.
