Zest ( courtesy of "Which") has been a real & welcome discovery for me. For the moment, Zest is my go-to provider for car rental.
I want to add that of the your 2 most recommended providers at Manchester airport, I am more impressed with Green Motion than with Wheego.
They are more friendly and more respectful.

The desk staff at the Arnold Clark depot were excellent when I picked up the car and again when I returned it,
Those guys even loaded up our luggage while I was dealing with the paperwork.
When I returned the vehicle they did not have a shuttle driver available right then and there so the desk clerk simply drove us back to the airport himself.
Top class all the way and I will certainly use them again next time I rent in the UK.

It's wonderful how quick and hassle free the sentence "I booked through Zest and I have everything covered" makes a car pick up. I swear the rep we had was so relieved not to have to go through the whole upselling routine for the umpteenth time that day, it scored us an upgrade on the vehicle!
